Stroke 15: Prompt from DA, number 1!

A while back on DA I made a small poll asking for prompts. I didn't get all that many, but I did get a couple.

This one was suggested by chromic7sky, they said 'hate him but eat his cookie' so let's see what we can do with this.

Let's set it in my Blue Star Sonicverse, (Blue Star can be read on my fanfiction.net account) just before part 12 of the fanfic somewhere. Small drabble, just a few sentences but a little bit of practice :)

It's below the jump, in case of spoilers. It's written as if you've read the fanfiction, so you might want to catch up before reading it if you don't want spoilers!

Sonic scowled, kicking the loose stones around the grass as he waited for him to return. Robotnik had promised he'd be back soon, but Sonic didn't trust the scientist as far as he could throw him. He sat down on the cool grass and dropped his shoulder bag to the ground beside him. The nameless place was somewhere between Zones that Sonic wasn't so familiar with, but it was nice. Overhead, the Gold Star, his ariship, hovered like some great floating whale. Robotnik had gone up there to find some of Sonic's comic books that he'd left behind, and he was watching the ship, fully expecting it to go missing. The hedgehog had his smaller aeroplane, the Tornado, nearby, so he could chase it if he needed to. So, having punished the stones for being unable to watch the scientist, he decided to make the most of it.

He reached into the bag and pulled out a small lunchbox, from which he produced a selection of sandwiches and fruit, and some cookies.

Robotnik may have manipulated his way into keeping watch on Sonic every moment, as far as the hedgehog knew and theorised, and Sonic still despised him for destroying his home...

... But he did make some damned good cookies.
